This resort is situated in the heart of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands in the picturesque foothills of the Drakensberg’s Champagne Valley Area, and is approximately half way between Durban and Johannesburg. The resort boasts, laundry and scullery facilities, self catering chalets, swimming pool, hiking, mountain biking, quad and motorbike trails, snooker/pool and is close to golf, tennis, squash, horse riding, white water rafting, river tubing, go-karting, game and nature reserves.

Directions from Johannesburg:

Just before you pass Harrismith (past Nandos, Wimpy, etc.) and before the corner that takes you down to Van Reenens Pass, you will see a turnoff No. 29 to Harrismith, take that turnoff.

At the stop turn right towards Harrismith and go under the bridge. At large intersection (Spur opposite) turn right again onto the N5 (R74).

Follow the R74 towards Bethlehem. Keep straight over the 4 way stop. About 4,5km after the N3 turnoff (1,5km from the 4-way stop) is a turnoff to the left signed R74 Bergville / Phuthadijaba. Follow this road for a further 8,5km until you see another turnoff R74 Bergville (also sign-marked Alternative Route).

Follow this road a further 65km and go past the outskirts of Bergville. Cross the bridge over the Tugela River (1km past Bergville) and just after this bridge is a road to your right signed Cathedral Peak.

Take the Cathedral Road and keep straight. DO NOT TURN OFF TO CATHEDRAL PEAK AGAIN. Follow this road for 17km on tar road. The tar road will run onto a gravel road. Go a further 5km on the gravel road until you see a sign saying "2 Kelvin Grove" (D277). Turn right and continue up the road a further 2km until you see another sign saying "Kelvin Grove".

The office is on your right in the old house as you drive into the yard. If it is late please ring the doorbell.

Directions from Durban:

Take the N3 out of Durban. Go through the Mooi River Toll Plaza. About 40 km (kilometers) driving you will see a sign that says Estcourt (north) / Giants Castle. Take that turnoff at the stop turn left towards Central Berg.

Follow that road straight for 36km. The first road left is sign marked D277, take that road left and follow it for 1,6km. Turn right into the driveway and the office is in the old building on your right as you drive into the yard. If it is late please ring the doorbell.
